Hi! My name is Anna Goodman. I have been helping people find homes and sell homes since 2001. I am a Union County native and love small town living. I would love to share my excitement for small town living by showing you homes around the area.

Before I began my Real Estate Career I attended Treasure Valley Community College where I ran Track and Field and Cross Country as well as obtaining my Associates of Arts degree. I then furthered my education by returning home and attending Eastern Oregon University where I once again ran, I also completed my Bachelors degree in Business and Sociology.

I received my Broker's License in 2001 and helped people in the Portland area with their Real Estate needs until 2007. In 2006 I received my Certified Residential Specialist certification. By becoming a CRS I not only furthered my education in order to help my clients but met stringent sales requirements as well.

In 2007, I returned to Union County to work with my father Roger Goodman and eventually took over the family business. Since that time I have become President of the Union County Board of Realtors and the President of the North East Oregon Renters association.

Small town living is a part of who I am and I am active in the community sponsoring events and activities such as the Eastern Oregon Livestock Show and a local softball team among others.

I am a knowledgeable and professional Real Estate Broker, with extensive experience, training in purchase and sale of property, as well as contract negotiations.

John Selman

John Selman was born just outside of Salem, Oregon.  He moved all over the western United States growing up.  When John was in middle school his family moved to La Grande where he stayed through high school and did his first year of college at Eastern Oregon University.  From there John moved to Portland and finished his undergraduate where he triple majored.  After finishing his undergraduate John started working in college athletics at Portland State University.  He worked there for just over 5 years as an assistant athletics director overseeing game operations, team travel and human resources.  While he was working there he also went to school for his master’s in public administration with an emphasis on nonprofit management.  After leaving Portland State, John moved to Australia for a year to travel and work.  He worked for a study abroad company and a professional rugby team.  Once he moved back to the states he moved to the east coast.  He got his master’s in teaching while living on the east coast and started his own business.  He taught for a short period of time before moving back to Oregon to be closer to family.  He was hired as a store manager with Starbucks and worked with them for more than 3 years.  He moved all over Oregon with Starbucks taking over stores and fixing them up and making them run more successfully.  He found that the best way to turn a store around was to train his employees to actually care about their customers.  When people feel that they are heard and cared about they want to keep coming back because so many people don’t care.  That was one of the best parts of working in retail; getting to know and building relationships with customers.  So many of them became as close as family.  Eventually John decided that he was sick of the Portland traffic and wanted to settle down and moved back to La Grande.  He still has family in town as well so he gets to spent time with his nephews, brother and mom.  He just started working in real estate and is having a great time helping people find their dream homes.  If you are looking for a house, trying to sell your house or just have questions about real estate please reach out to John.  He is more than willing to help and would love your business.
